Set in a brief for 2100, the ‘lily pad’ project is aimed at combating rising sea levels, accommodating ”ecological refugees”
“It is a true amphibian half aquatic and half terrestrial city, able to accommodate 50,000 inhabitants and inviting the biodiversity to develop its fauna and flora around a central lagoon of soft water collecting and purifying the rain waters.”
Sodom & Gomorrah by Alessandro Bavari
Italian artist and photographer, Alessandro Bavari, has been digitally manipulating art and developing an artistic language since 1993.
He creates these photographic mash ups by incorporating industrial and organic products from nature.
Bavari lives and works in Italy.
