Here is a collection of work from photographer Richard Nickel Jr.
Richard is a self described ‘Guerrilla Preservationist’
He roams the streets and alleys hunting for abandoned architecture and buildings and then shares his findings with readers via his blog The Kingston Lounge
This sort of derelict architecture has always fascniated me, such a history (and mystery!) behind each photo..

Richard has quite the collection on his blog Kingston Lounge and I could go on forever sharing his unique gift for unearthing the abandoned

There is so much rich texture in these photos. They exhibit a quiet beauty, sadness, hope, resolve, sense of time and yet a timeless quality….
I’ve always been intrigued by decaying architecture.
SUPER NEATO! This is awesome.
Very nice. I love the one with the Statute of Liberty in the bg, the sole chair faced towards the window, the wheelchairs and the green curved shot. Simply beautiful.
fantastic, i love abandoned buildings. photos are exquisite.
I really like these pictures, I especially like the one with the statue of liberty in the background. I’m trying to remember where I saw the ones from Melbourne like these…hmmm!

Thank you, I’ve just been searching for information about this topic for a while and yours is the greatest I have discovered so far. But, what about the bottom line? Are you positive about the supply?|What i don’t realize is in fact how you are no longer actually much more smartly-liked than you might be right now. You’re very intelligent.
