From Russian designer Maria Yasko comes the modular shelving unit
The clever and playful shelves are made from Corian and offers users a unique and individual way to store there books, trinkets etc.
The sculptural shelving unit has a strong organic feel to it, the backdrop provided by the wall allows for a number of different combinations, and a very nice touch.
One would have to be careful when using these, over crowding would sadly ruin the effect.

They might look good, but are they practical?
I mean, look at the tree! There are that many U bends in it that it would mean it’s purely decorational and not at all “shelving” as it so claims to be. Unless of course you own a lot of things that a very short and very curved…

Trust me, there is allot of retail shelving applications that would greatly benefit from these awesome unique designs. I partially agree with the lack inadequate storage space, but I definitely think it would grab your attention…

I LOVE it! I’m using it in my contemporary kitchen with NO kitchen cabinets. ALL of my glasses, New Wave Caffe dishes, wine bottle, stack of dish towels, etc will go on the tree. It’s THE focal point of the kitchen. I’m putting hanging wine glass brackets hanging from the lower shelf on the right. If you’re not into real contemporary, what are you doing at Dornob.com?!!! Go back to Sears! LOL!
